SAT Reading & Writing

Advanced Course

Refine high-level reasoning, precision, pacing, and decision-making for students already performing at a strong level.

Who this course is for

The Advanced Course is intended for students who already demonstrate strong SAT performance but need more precise analysis, better control of difficult questions, and greater consistency across complete timed modules.

Advanced focus

  • Close distinctions between plausible answer choices
  • Complex inference, evidence, and rhetorical purpose
  • Precision in grammar, transitions, and synthesis
  • Efficient strategies for difficult or time-consuming questions
  • Full-module execution, stamina, and post-test analysis

Teaching approach

Cynthia Li’s SAT teaching emphasizes logical structure, connections between tested concepts, and the practical application of rules. Advanced students are expected to explain why an answer is correct, why alternatives fail, and how to reproduce the reasoning efficiently.

Lessons and review are adjusted to the student’s pattern of errors, preparation timeline, and score objectives.
