SAT Reading & Writing

Intermediate Course

Organize knowledge, identify recurring weak areas, and convert understanding into more consistent timed performance.

Who this course is for

The Intermediate Course is for students who already understand many basic concepts but still lose points because their knowledge is fragmented, their reasoning is inconsistent, or their execution changes under time pressure.

Core areas of work

  • Information and Ideas: evidence, inference, main ideas, and data interpretation
  • Craft and Structure: words in context, text structure, purpose, and cross-text connections
  • Expression of Ideas: transitions, rhetorical synthesis, and organization
  • Standard English Conventions: sentence boundaries, form, structure, and usage
  • Timing, elimination, and disciplined review of recurring errors

From individual questions to a complete system

Students learn to connect question types with the underlying skill being tested. This makes review more useful: instead of treating every error as unrelated, students recognize patterns and work on the cause.
